Safari Lodges Facilities / Activities
  • Beyond the stunning African bushveld scenery, the incredible wildlife sightings, the warm and personal service (with a smile) and the inspiring atmosphere, we offer you a host of experiences to ensure that your visit becomes a memory that will last a lifetime.
  • Our twice-daily safaris, known in South Africa as game drives, are out of this world. Take it all in with all five senses and return to our lodges a changed person.
  • Then, tuck into fantastic South African food, expertly prepared with care and attention with only the freshest ingredients – we use only the best quality produce that's readily available, so sometimes we improvise ... with stunning results.
  • Need to really break away from the urban environment? Let one of our trained beauty therapists massage away any trace of city life with a number of rejuvenating treatments.
  • For budding photographers keen on taking memories home with them, our photographic safari is a hands-on, interactive learning experience that will see you take magazine-quality photographs in no time. Our experts are here to show you just where to point and how to shoot for the best in African wildlife photography.
  • If you want to learn more about the people of the area, take a village trip and find out how the community lives and works.
  • In our curio shop we have a wide range of African arts and curios, as well as branded apparel. Most items are crafted by local artists, and the prices are very reasonable. The curio shop is situated next to reception, and is open all day.
  • Take the plunge in the lodge swimming pool, surrounded by comfortable chairs under bushveld trees. Swimming towels are available at the pool.
  • The air conditioners have been pre-set to a comfortable temperature. We suggest you keep the windows closed when using the aircon unit. Overhead fans in the rooms can be used as an alternative.
  • Cellphone coverage in the area is extremely limited. As a courtesy to other guests, please refrain from using cellphones in any public areas and especially on game drives. We have a guest computer set up in the main lodge with internet access for your convenience.
  • The Sabi Sand Game Reserve is situated in a malaria risk area. If you have not taken precautions, please speak to management for advice. We advise that you place all your valuables in the digital safe provided in your room. An instruction card explaining how to use the safe is provided.
